The complete throne is owned by the Brotherhood. The titular sculpture represents the Third Sorrowful Mystery, “The Crowning with Thorns”. This sculpture, the only one in Valencia, is based on the Shroud of Turin and the Shroud of Oviedo, and since the sculptor belongs to the Spanish Centre of Sindonology and is a professor of Fine Arts at the Universidad de Seville, he gave the sculpture a maximum level of verism.

It should be noted, as a point of interest, that the day of the Brotherhood takes place on Holy Saturday, with the solemn “Procession of the Lanterns” walking through the streets of Cabanyal, which are lit up by the light of the lanterns carried by the members of the brotherhood.
